Caring Place has been trusted for peer support in Newton, Kanas Since 1971. For over five decades, Caring Place has been a beacon of hope and support for those navigating their mental health journey. We have been dedicated to providing a safe space for individuals to seek peer support, find solace, and journey toward healing together. Our commitment to fostering a community of understanding and empathy remains unwavering as we continue to stand by you through thick and thin. We understand that each journey is unique, and we're here to walk beside you. We aim to create a sanctuary where acceptance and healing thrive. Together, we can cultivate hope and resilience. In the early 2000ā€™s we obtained our Non-Profit status and are currently registered as a 501(c)3. We are currently funded in large part by a continuing operational grant from the Kansas Department on Disability and Aging Services. We have been located at 206 W. 6th since 2019.
