Caring Place has been trusted for peer support in Newton, Kanas Since 1971. For over five decades, Caring Place has been a beacon of hope and support for those navigating their mental health journey. We have been dedicated to providing a safe space for individuals to seek peer support, find solace, and journey toward healing together. Our commitment to fostering a community of understanding and empathy remains unwavering as we continue to stand by you through thick and thin. In the early 2000’s we obtained our Non-Profit status and are currently registered as a 501(c)3. We are currently funded in large part by a continuing operational grant from the Kansas Department on Disability and Aging Services. We have been located at 206 W. 6th since 2019.
